    Description

This is a single page of 2 illustrations taken from the Giant Golden Book’s 1st Edition of Alice and Martin Provensen’s iconic children’s book, ANIMAL FAIR (aka The Animal Book) published by Simon & Scheuster in 1952.
Considered one of the most important and influential artists / illustrators of children’s books ever, Alice Provensen had her own unique style and color palate and has influenced generations.
This particular pair of images -
    1) An old 1920’s green automobile sits in a barn as a gathering of barnyard animals (chickens, geese, a cow and a duck) frantically react to something outside...perhaps a storm??
    And
    2) The beginnings of a mean storm is descends upon the farm, the farmer, it’s animals and blows clutter all about...
    Measuring -
    13” inches tall x 10” inches wide
Condition is excellent to mint, without stains, holes, tears or odors. Being that it was removed from a bound book, there is a slightly rough edge on one side.
I’ll send it in acid free cover, flat between cardboard panels. If you prefer a different method, just ask.
Please contact me with questions or concerns,
(One photo shows the illustration in a frame, which is not included. However if you’re interested in the frame, just ask)
    Thanks,
    Jason
